Monday- Friday 2:30-7:00 pm
Wednesday 12:30-7:00pm
Transportation: Bus transportation is available at all elementary and middle school locations and is provided by the Sonoma Valley Unified School District.
Cost: The ASES program is offered free to El Verano Students every school day from school dismissal until 6:00 PM. The ASES Program funding is based on enrollment and hourly attendance; therefore we ask that all students registering for ASES attend the afterschool program on all school days and participate in the program until 6:00 PM.
Your student can also choose to become a Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley member for a small annual fee of $120. As a Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley member your student will be able to attend the Maxwell Clubhouse on non-school days/furlough days, some holidays and summer weekdays from 1pm-7pm and school days your student may stay at the Maxwell Clubhouse until 7:00pm. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley we strive to provide a positive place for children to learn and succeed. Our programs are designed to be fun, entertaining and most of all educational. Listed below are the components of an average afterschool day.
Power Hour: This is our Homework time. We provide a quiet learning environment for members to complete their Homework, ask staff for help and provide educational materials for those without homework. ASES Students have access to Accelerated Reading books in all levels and opportunities to take online quizzes.
Enrichment Hour: We offer an array of enrichment programs within our five core program areas: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, Sports, Fitness and Recreation. Each staff member provides an fun and inspiring activity based on these core areas. Some enrichment programs are lead by contracted professionals and volunteers with specialized skills in their fielded.
